Sow seeds 8-12 weeks before your last frost. Lobelia seeds are tiny and don't need to be covered with soil to germinate. Just sprinkle the seeds on top of the soil mix and gently press them down into the soil. Water them gently so that you don't wash any away. Lobelia is a fairly easy plant to grow from seed.
